Environmental Impact Analysis of Alkali-Activated Concrete with Fiber Reinforcement

The scientific community is shifting its focus towards construction materials with a low carbon footprint, such as alkali-activated concrete (AAC). present study conducts an environmental impact assessment using the cradle-to-grave approach to examine implications of three different types ambient-cured AACs varied combinations precursors. 28-day compressive strength values mixes used for comparing impacts vary from 35 55 MPa. Among these mixtures, one least chosen further inclusion fibers. Three fiber reinforced AAC containing 0.3% steel, glass, and polypropylene fibers, respectively by volume AAC, are in this study. findings show that Portland Cement has 86% 34% higher than on ecosystem human health, respectively.
